Use those ten minutes to do this

The “Eat that Frog!” technique I read about is all about planning: you think about your tasks and just write them down. Take ten minutes at the end of your day, every day and plan. Write out a prioritized list of to dos for the next day. You can start simple with this if planning is something new to you. I recommend taking a peek at the bullet journal method too. I’ve used it for quite a few years now, and it’s saved my sanity many times. I spend usually less than ten minutes a day writing my list for the next day. Daily online business tasks, homeschooling books updated, life stuff like order groceries written in. It has saved soooo much time thinking the next day when I have noise in my ears and can’t think on my feet in the moment.

Learn how to prioritize

Next you take your to do list for the next day and prioritize them, so you’ll know what task to do first. Rule of thumb for prioritizing - focus on the tasks that will have the most impact. Oftentimes, we get stuck focusing on the “busy work”, the organization type tasks. I know I do! Instead of the important ones that help us move towards our goals.

Bump whatever is unfinished

At the end of the next day? Anything that is unfinished is bumped to the next day. Over time, you will become better at knowing what your limits are and bonus? You’ll very quickly see how insanely large your to do list sometimes gets if you’re like me. Ha!
